The Celebrated Cherry Sisters can now be called the Celebrated and Award Winning Cherry Sisters! The company scooped Best Original Play- written by Stuart Mitchell-Smith Best Director- Stuart Mitchell-Smith Best Actress - Helena Houghton (Effie Cherry) Certificates of Merit for :- Teresa Wilkins, Sarah Coleman, Megan Abell & Jo Gleeson ( Lizzie, Addie, Jessie & Ella Cherry) And 1st Place Special mentions to our fellow finalists Alternate Shadows Theatre Company, The Willington Players And of course congratulations to all companies that took part and took home awards this evening. This play would not have been possible with out our amazing cast, incredible script written by Stuart, our costumes made by Teresa and Sarah all the props sourced by everyone (then paid for by our treasurer Helena) and our set built by Jack & of course our wonderful audiences both at Greenwich Theatre and Medway Little Theatre and staff and crew at both venues also as well as our rehearsal spaces.
